Dwele - Sketches of a Man (sampler)

Dwele’s third album drops on June 24th.  I check for this man’s work on a consistent basis.  And if you’re like me, you probably have a ton of loose, unreleased joints from no album whatsoever just sitting on your hard drive.  Homie puts in work.

I am told some of these tracks have been floating around here and there for a while now.  I’m not sure why “Open Your Eyes” (a cover of the Bobby Caldwell classic) is on here.  That was a joint off of the old Bling 47 Best Kept Secret Mix CD from some years back.  And I’ve had “Love Ultra” for a while now (can’t remember when, where or how I got it).  In any rate, it’s gonna new to somebody and it’s all flavor.

And it’s no secret that some of my favorite artists ever are from Detroit.  There’s just something about the D (the environment, the surroundings, the air) that produces incredible music.  Are you one of those nerds like me that still buys CDs?  This will be one of those purchases.  Clean the crib and light some incense, y’all.
