For those of you may not be up on this, Talib Kweli and Res recently joined to form a duo by the name of Idle Warship (such an ill play on words). There have been a couple of joints floating around the web for a couple months now.
This is one of the newer ones, which I found on one of my regular perusals of NahRight. And it’s so crazy. I love the hook. They are going in on a certain somebody who has overstayed her welcome in a certain Democratic race that she can pretty much no longer win at this point.
Chester French also joins them on this track, one of Star Trak’s newest signees. Great to see Pharrell not being afraid to mess w/ something different for the label roster. I’m slowly and surely starting to get into their stuff.
