Katt Williams speaks on the Comedy Central Roast of Flavor Flav and racism (LIVE @ The Palms Resort & Casino, 7/5/08).

Just ran across this over at a really dope comedy blog I just discovered, The Dead Frog.  Looks like someone got their sneak on at a recent Katt Williams show at The Palms in Las Vegas and videotaped a very poignant piece of material from Katt’s set.  Him glossing over his involvement in Comedy Central’s Roast of Flavor Flav.

I did watch that whole roast a couple of times.  And I must say, while some of it was actually really funny (I don’t get offended easily).  Hell, some of the funniest parts were the comedians dissing Carrot Top, who wasn’t even supposed to get roasted.  However, some of it was slightly…ummm EDGY.  Like ”I can’t believe they actually just said that on TV in the new millenium” edgy.  And Katt mentions some of the behind-the-scenes antics regarding that.

Watch the video above.  I dunno if I agree with his rationale about it at the end, but everyone’s entitled to their own opinion.   And if you’ve never seen the roast (or just forgot that Katt actually did say those words), watch this to put it in context.

I wonder if he has to kind walk on eggshells regarding that topic as to not eff up the deal he’s about to sign with Comedy Central for his own show.
